AKB48’s Yokoyama Yui apologizes on Twitter after paparazzi take photos of her and co-star Daito Shunsuke heading to a convenience store

AKB48 Yokoyama Yui is one of the veterans, who is one of the most responsible members of the group.

But when she went to go to a convenience store with her “Utsukushiku aoku” co-star, actor Daito Shunsuke, paparazzi took photos of the two walking to the convenience store with the headline “Convenience Store Date”.

驚かせてしまってごめんなさい。
まさか劇場から買い出しに行くところが撮られるとは思わず、
誤解されることがないように今後は気をつけます。
稽古着ももうちょっとちゃんとしたものを着ようと思いました、、

Yokoyama wrote on Twitter, “I’m sorry to surprise you. I didn’t think that photos of going shopping near the theater would be taken, so I will be careful not to be misunderstood in the future. I also think I should wear a little more appropriate clothing”.

Other members of AKB48 took to her post to comment and took it as hilarious because many people know Yokoyama, know she is professional and responsible. While others wrote in support, especially that she’s wearing kick back clothes (t-shirt/sweat pants).

NOTE: For those reading this and wondering what the big deal is… It’s because she is an AKB48 member and they have strict no dating rules and tabloids are often pursuing 48 or 46 members to take photos with them alone with a guy and trying to find the next scandal. Unfortunately, members of both 46/48 groups have been caught by paparazzi.
