Tanaka Shunsuke leaving BOYS AND MEN

Tanaka Sunsunke of BOYS AND MEN will be leaving the group on November 30th and he will also be leaving Fortune Entertainment.

Back in March, Tanaka suspended activities, a few months after being diagnosed with adjustment disorder back in December.

Originally, Tanaka wanted to receive treatment while continuing working without having to suspend any activities but there was no signs of recovery.

Tanaka said, “I sincerely apologize to all the fans and the people involved”.

Tanaka updated his blog and wrote, “Some days, I was unable to do any group activities as expected and I was diagnosed with adjustment disorder last December.  I was confused by symptoms that I did not understand and have never experienced.  I was worried, I was suffering”.

“I have been striving for recovery, but I couldn’t see any signs of recovery , contrary to how I felt.  I feel sorry for all the trouble and for the inconvenience, but I decided to leave.  I never imagined that I would leave BOYS AND MEN, who I have been dedicated and loved for about ten years since we formed.  I am very sorry that I let down all the members who were waiting for my return”.

Tanaka said he will act as a freelance actor and will do his best without forgetting one’s gratitude”.
