Prior to Cocomi’s debut, she performed alongside professional musicians of JPCO earlier in the year

Before Kimura Takuya and Kudo Shizuka’s eldest daughter Cocomi made her debut on VOGUE Japan, she had performed as a professional flute at a JPCO (Japan Popular Classics Orchestra) event earlier in the year.

The event which showcases professional musicians who happen to be beautiful performers as part of a professional orchestra known as JPCO, Cocomi had been lauded for her flute playing and she took part in the event.

A violinist at the age of three and playing flute since the age of eleven, she was asked last October to partake in the event, but under Shizuka Kudo’s strict policy of no photos of Cocomi were allowed, JPCO accepted Kudo’s request as a special case.  When asked of the name she will use, Cocomi insisted on her real name, Kimura Cocomi and has appeared in about six JPCO events so far.
