Article suggests Yonekura Ryoko left Oscar Promotion because they opposed her decision to get married

Sports newspaper Sponichi Annex is reporting that Yonekura Ryoko (44) is marrying her boyfriend, an Argentinean dancer.  On the day she announced that she is leaving Oscar Promotion, Sponichi is reporting that her management opposed her decision to get married.

Yonekura’s boyfriend is Argentinean and resides in Japan and works overseas as a choreographer and dancer.  He is also a lecturer for an Argentine tango class in Tokyo which Yonekura attends. It was reported back in late January the two were seen together at his apartment.

The article suggests that when Yonekura discussed remarriage, her management opposed it.

Yonekura has been with Oscar Promotion for 27 years.
