Since 1980, “Kinnikuman” has entertained manga and anime fans.
Created by Nakai Yoshinori and Shimada Takashi (both are known as Yudetamago) and is currently serialized in “Weekly Playboy”.
But because of the novel coronavirus, “Kinnikuman” will be postponed for more than one month.
Nakai wrote, “Many of the staff, including our drawing assistant lives together with each of their elderly family members. It is a terrible risk to the staff and all their family to be infected because of daily commuting”.
Nakai also wrote, “Now that not only Japan but people from all over the world are avoiding unnecessary and urget outings, I think the best friendship is to take initiative. I’m very sorry for those who have been at home and were looking forward to our comics, but for now, I appreciate your understanding”.
Last, Nakai wrote that the series will resume on May 18th.
