On October 17th, the Shiki Theatre Company in Yokohama announced that 10 of their actors belonging to the theater company tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The performers of “Aladdin” performed at the Dentsu Shiki Theater in Shiodome, Tokyo are said to to not have spread to the audience as there were no contact between the talent and audience.
Performances were canceled since October 10th and resumed on the 15th. A total of 29 people (27 talents and two staff members) had contacted with an infected performer and each took a PCR test.
Shiki Theatre Company says they will do their best to prevent the novel coronavirus so that audiences can watch a performance with peace of mind.
