NMB48’s Shiroma Miru tested positive for COVID-19

Yoshimoto Kogyo announced on November 30th that NMB48 member Shiroma Miru (23) tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

According to a press release from Yoshimoto Kogyo, “NMB48 member Shiroma Miru (23) belonging to our affiliate company, Showtitle Co., Ltd. tested positive of the novel coronavirus on November 29th.  Shiroma had a fever on the night of the 28th and a result of a PCR test on the 29th, she tested positive.  She will receive treatment at home under the guidance of the health center.  In addition, as soon as the judgment of the health center is given, such as confirmation of close contacts, we will take appropriate measures according to the guidance of medical experts and government agencies.  We will give top priority to ensuring the safety of our customers, affiliated talents, business partners and employees and we will strive to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection”.

Meanwhile, on the NMB48 site, the site mentions that Shiroma had symptoms of headache, feeling weak and sore throat on November 28th and received a PCR test on November 29th”.
