Kahala Tomomi opens a new fan club but the VIP membership is a bit pricey

Singer Kahala Tomomi (46) opening a new fan club titled “TOMOMI KAHALA FC”.

Back in August, Kahala left her agency and her original fan club was canceled.

According to Nikkan Gendai, Kahala started a new one but for VIP members, the annual membership is Y36,000.

Regular members are charged Y500 per month (Y6000 a year) and can use basic functions such as group chat, have digital membership cards, and more.  But for VIP members, it’s Y3000 per month and they can send a digital fan letter directly to Kahala.

Why so expensive?  FLASH reported on December 15th that Kahala bought a Y150 million condo in one of the most luxurious residential areas in Tokyo last spring.

Kahala wrote on Twitter back on December 12th of how she met a long time fan and when she asked the person if they joined the new fan club, they said they weren’t and unable to do it anymore. Kahala said she was pretty bummed but it’s okay. Kahala said, “It’s more important to meet fans who will do their best and say they still like her again”.
