Inoue Waka had the coronavirus, her temperature went up to 40C (104F)

Inoue Waka wrote on her blog that she had tested positive for the novel coronavirus back in late December.

She developed a high fever of nearly 40 degrees celcius (104 degrees F).

According to Inoue, she felt something was wrong during the middle of the night on December 27th.  She was fine and then had the chills.  She felt something was wrong and started taking over the counter cold remedies but her condition didn’t improve.

Four hours later, she had a high fever of 40 degrees and chills that made her tremble.  She Couldn’t sleep until the morning and it was like a strong flue.  She went to the clinic to get a PCR test for influenza and coronavirus and while the influenza test was negative, she was positive for the coronavirus.

Inoue said she would wear a mask and didn’t touch anything indoors and stayed in her bedroom.  She said it was tough on her daughter who didn’t know much about the coronavirus but when her daughter saw her sick and started crying, she felt sad.
