Shanghai's full-scale Freedom Gundam statue to be completed soon, opening ceremony will be held on May 28th

A prayer ceremony was held at the Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Shanghai in Shanghai, China where the full-scale Freedom Gundam Statue was set-up.

At the ceremony, the Gundam’s head was lifted via a large crane and set upon the Freedom Gundam’s statue and technicians made sure everything was docked accurately. As a result, the construction of the main-body of the full-scale Freedom Gundam statue at the height of 18.03 meters is now nearly completed. A scheduled leg attachment job will be carried out to complete the project.

The opening ceremony of the Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Shanghai wil open on May 28th.
