It was announced on May 16th that Watanabe Miria (21) and Ito Junna (22) of Nogizaka46 will be graduating from the group. The announcement was made on the Nogizaka46 blog.
Watanabe said, “I had been worried about a year and a half ago and decided to consult with staff. I’m looking at more things in the outside world. I wanted to climb a mountain that isn’t easy, so I made that decision, so it’s a very positive decision! Thank you as it was an irreplaceable, miracle place to be. It was really nice to meet everyone”.
Ito said, “As my colleagues graduated, I began to think about my future. I had more time to think about graduation and I was worried. I decided to graduate because I thought I should go on a path that I don’t know. It’s been eight years. There have been many experiences. I devoted all my youth to Nogizaka! I love Nogizaka, so I think I’ve been able to continue on to this point”.
The “Nogizaka46 Under Live 2021” by the under members to be held on May 26th will be the last live performance for the two.
