Anime! Anime! poll results…”What is your favorite depressing anime?”

Popular anime site Anime! Anime! conducted a reader survey of “What is your Favorite Depressing Anime?”.

The website received 195 responses during the survey period from May 18th through the 25th. With 35% male and 65% female taking part in the poll. About 50% of the participants were 19-years-old and about 30% were in their 20s.

So, because of the younger demographic, don’t expect to see past titles such as “Kanon” or “Clannad” on this list.

The top 10 were as follows:
