Kimura Takuya and Ayase Haruka will be reuniting together in a drama, their first in ten years.
The two starred in the TBS drama in 2009 for “MR. BRAIN”, but the last time they have worked together was in the TBS 2011 drama, “Nankyoku Tairiku”.
In September, in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Toei, Kimura Takuya will be playing the role of Oda Nobunaga.
The two will reunite at Toei Studio in Uzumasa, Kyoto this fall.
Kimura Takuya played Oda Nobunaga in a drama back in 1998, but 23 years have since passed since then.
Ayase had said of working with Kimura back in 2009, “The atmosphere of the site changes just because Kimura-san is there, and I think that the attitude towards the work and everything is amazing”.
