New mother, actress Imaizumi Yui (22) will become independent, according to an interview with Sports Nippon on July 3rd.
Imaizumi announced she ended her contract with Avex Asunaro Company at midnight on July 4th and according to sources, she intends to be involved with entertainment activities.
In the interview with Sports Nippon, Imaizumi said, “I have been in discussion with my office because of various work problems. I gave birth safely and reached an agreement to terminate the contract”.
Imaizumi graduatred from Sakurzaka46 in August 2018 and was represented by Avex Asunaro Company in January 2019.
Imaizumi tested positive for the novel coronavirus in August 2020 and returned in September, but stopped working in October due to an unexplained physical condition. In January 21, it was revealed that she was dating a man (who happened to be YouTuber Watanabe Mahoto) and was five months pregnant.
