Rockband TUBE is known for their music for the summer. And the group performed at Orix Theater in Osaka on July 19th. But the band has decided to cancel their live performance on August 28th at Yokohama Stadium and on September 11th at Koshien Stadium as a response due to the increase of covid infections throughout Japan.
Vocalist Maeda Nobuteru (56) wrote, “It was a painful decision. I’m sorry to everyone who was looking forward to it. TUBE’s concert.
In an interview with Sports Nippon, Maeda said, “When I decided to postpone last year, I was worried that Corona might not be over. So, we decided to hold on for a year but all the worries were correct. Now, who feels like preparing for next year? I don’t think I can get used to this. Considering that it’s been a bad two years, I can’t say that I can do it next year as easily”.
TUBE has performed at a total of 130 performances since their debut back in 1988 and the band is known for performing at outdoor venues.
