Talent Tsuchiya Kaori wrote on her blog that her mother died on her 90th birthday on August 30th.
While a sad post, it was made even sadder when Tsuchiya explained that she hadn’t seen her mother because she wanted to make sure she got the second COVID-19 vaccination prior to seeing her mother.
Tsuchiya wrote, “If I got the second vaccine… If I could get the antibodies … I wonder if we could have met in the middle of September. I’ve been waiting for that day for the past year and seven months, and a little more … I’ve been looking forward to it. Hoping my wish will come true. I didn’t. Yesterday my mother left us. We couldn’t even meet at the end. A few hours after she had died, I met my mother. Even if she didn’t remember me, I wanted her to stare again, to laugh again. I am very sad and regretful. My mother’s face was calm as if she was sleeping. A mother who seems to have lived only for people, so that we can give it back a little, so we can protect our loved ones. I will my best. I was happy to be your daughter”.
Tsuchiya blogged on August 12th that she got the first vaccine.
