Former AKB48 member Itano Tomomi (30) announced on her Instagram on October 10th that she gave birth to her first child, a girl. And both her and the baby are healthy.
Itano wrote, “I finished giving birth safely the other day and was able to welcome a cute girl to my home. The birth was a series of miracles. Thank you very much for letting me experience such a miracle and for being born to us. I can’t stop loving my child who shows various expressions every day. During pregnancy, I was worried because of corona, but I am really grateful to my family and friends who continue to support me, the maternity hospital, the people involved in the work and fans who sent me a lot of comments of support”.

Itano sent a statement through her agency HoriPro, which was then send to media.
The statement is as follows,
“I, Itomi Itano, who belongs to HoriPro, gave birth a healthy girl. Both mother and child are healthy. In the future, I plan to return to work as soon as possibly while taking consideration of my physical condition a nd childcare. The date of birth and name are not disclosed for privacy protection”.
Itano is married to Yakult Swallows pitcher Takahashi Keiji.
