Hoshino Minami (23), a first gen member of Nogizaka46, announced on the group’s blog that she will be graduating from the group in February, a month where she will be celebrating her birthday.
Hoshino wrote, “I have something to tell everyone. I decided to graduate from Nogizaka46. I’ve been talking to the staff about graduation for quite some time, but before that, I’m really sorry that I am making people sad. I am planning to graduate around February around the same time of my birthday next year. I will graduate earlier than the planned graduation, but please let me stay with Nogizaka46 members a little more. It’s been 10 years since I joined Nogizaka46 at the age of 13. It was hard and difficult, but I met members and the fans who have showed me the wonderful scenery. I did my best because of you. Thank you very much. I have few weeks left and I hope I can make a lot of fun memories until the end. And after graduation, I will retire from the entertainment world. I will do my best in a different place, so I would be grateful if you could watch over me gently”.
