“Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” will be released on June 11th

TOEI Co., Ltd. announced on June 14th that the new release date of the movie “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” which was originally scheduled to be released on March 18th, will now be released on June 11th.

According to the company, “As previously reported, the production company Toei Animation had an unauthorized access to the network by a third party , making it difficult to produce the work. Therefore, we had to postpone the release. We are very sorry to everyone who is looking forward to the release”.

Toei Animation confirmed that the company’s network was illegally accessed by a third party on March 6th, which stopped part of the in-house system, which affected the broadcasting schedule of the animation work produced by the company.

It was revealed that four works were affected as well: “Dragon Quest Dai no Daiboken”, “Delicious Party (=Heart) Pretty Cure”, “Digimon Ghost Game” and “ONE PIECE” and each animation will be rebroadcast or have a special edition broadcast.
