Singer/songwriter Yamashita Tatsuro will serve as a personality for Nippon Broadcasting System’s “All Night Nippon” (ANN) for the first time in 46 years.
Yamashita will be singing at the Kishidan Banpaku, a one-night revival with the special program “Yamashita Tatsuro’s All Night Nippon Gold” at 10:00 p.m. and will broadcast on June 21st to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the radio station.
In connection with the release of his original album “SOFTLY” to be released on May 22nd, his first album in 11 years, a talk segment will be held answering questions sent in by listeners.
Yamashita who made his debut with the rock band Sugar Babe in 1975, was an ANN personality when he hosted a radio show from 3:00 p.m. for ANN from January-September 1976.
