Is Nagase Tomoya planning to resume music activities?

Nagase Tomoya (43) left Johnny’s Jimusho in March 2021 and the former TOKIO vocalist had seemed to leave music and focus on acting and modeling for apparel brands and sports brands.

But a year and a half later, it appears that Nagase maybe considering a return to music.

Since TOKIO’s Yamaguchi Tatsuya (50) left the group in 2018, Nagase hasn’t done any music-related activities.

Jisin has released an article that a musician has told them that Nagase has been recording frequently at a studio and on August 8th, Nagase played the guitar on his Instagram live and their is speculation that Nagase maybe resuming full-scale activities and return to music.

One told the publication, “He has a large stock of songs he had self-composed.  There is no way Nagase will give up self-expression in music.  Even after leaving the facility, music has always been close to him, such as making songs and enjoying guitar sessions with friends”.

Many are hoping to see how Nagase’s music will be post-idol from TOKIO.
