“Kamen Rider Blade” actor Tsubaki Takayuki (40) appeared on a TV Tokyo program segment of entertainers who nearly were killed.

Actor Tsubaki Takayuki looked back when he was severely assaulted in 2016.

Tsubaki said that while he was coming home from practice at around 9:00 p.m. in November of that year, he was walking down a narrow back alley just wide enough for one car to pass. He was almost hit by a motorcycle that was going through and got into an argument with the cyclist.

The man then called his brother and in less than ten minutes later, the brother repeatedly hit his face with a golf club.

His face was bloodied, his left cheek was crushed, his upper jaw and nose was fractured and the nerve on the left side of his face was lost.

While the assailant tried to say it was self-defense during the criminal trial, the judge ruled in favor of Tsubaki and he was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for five years.

Tsubaki returned to acting after undergoing three surgeries and revealing he has a plate in his left cheek.
