Nakau cuts the price of oyakodon, while other companies are raising prices

While many Japanese restaurants are increasing the price of their menu items (and many stores and services throughout Japan as well), on April 6th, Nakau revised the price of their flagship menu “Oyakodon” which was reduced by 40 yen.

There are no changes in product design, ingredients or amount of rice.

According to the company, ““Oyakodon is the most popular product that has been on sale since 1994, and it will be renewed in 2022. We have decided to reduce the price this time so that more people can enjoy it”.
