Naoi Rei, the sole Japanese member of the popular K-Pop group IVE, will be taking a break from activities.
STARSHIP Entertainment posted on IVE’s official fan cafe (a site operated by fans) on the 11th about Ray’s health and activities. According to Starship Entertainment, Rei recently felt unwell with palpitations and shortness of breath.
STARSHIP Entertainment said, “After a thorough discussion with Rei, we have decided to suspend activities temporarily for her to recover her health. We will inform you about future changes.” It was also added, “We apologize for causing concern to fans with the sudden news,” and added, “We will do our best so that Rei can focus on treatment and rest.”
IVE released their 1st original album “I’ve IVE” on the 10th. At the press conference held on that day, Raei had only attended the photo session and did not participate in the conference due to poor health.
