Tokyo Midtown Christmas 2023 kicks off on November 16th

Tokyo Midtown (near Roppongi) has announced their “Midtown Christmas 2023” event and it will be held on November 16th through December 25th.

If you slow down and be captivated by the twinkling lights, you’ll be thrilled by the scenery unique to this season.

This year, with the concept of “BE ENCHANTED…”, Tokyo Midtown Christmas will brighten up your holiday season day and night with enchanting, fantastical performances accompanied by the beautiful rhythms of nature.

A golden tree that stretches 80 meters in length in Midtown Garden. Colorful illuminations along with the seasonal sounds of nature and smoke create a landscape that can only be found here. Until November 30th (Thursday), you can take a walk through the trees and see the immersive performance up close.

Galleria Installation & Performance

In the atrium of the Galleria, an installation depicting delicate winter scenes will appear. Drops of light falling from icicle-like crystals strike the piano keys, and each note seems to mark the time to enjoy this moment while waiting for the next spring. The countless particles imitating lightly floating snow create a variety of emotional depictions of winter scenery, like deep, silent snowfall, or sometimes like a cold blizzard.
