SKE48 member Suzuki Ena was injured in a traffic accident

On June 13th, Suzuki Ena, a member of the idol group “SKE48”, announced through her official website that she would be taking a break from activities. It was announced that she had been injured in a traffic accident.

According to a statement on her official website, “Suzuki broke her leg in a collision with a motorcycle on the 12th. She is conscious and able to contact us, but will need rehabilitation and will therefore be unable to appear at any future events. However, she plans to continue her activities, such as updating her social media accounts, as long as it doesn’t put too much strain on her”.

The statement also included Suzuki’s own comments, apologizing for “causing everyone concern”. While the timeline for her return is still undecided, she said, “I feel fine mentally, so I look forward to recovering quickly and being able to perform in front of everyone again! It may take some time, but please wait for me!!”
