Actor Murashima Miyu announces departure from agency, has suspended activities from the end of May due to physical and mental health issues

On the 31st, actor and gravure idol Murashima Miyu, who had suspended her activities for the time being due to physical and mental illness, announced through her agency’s official website that she will be leaving her agency.

Through her official website, the agency reported, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support. We would like to inform you that Murashima Miyu, who is affiliated with our company, will be leaving the company on July 31, 2024, at her own request. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the fans and people involved who have supported her so far”.

Murashima was born in Osaka Prefecture on August 27, 1998. She served as an assistant MC and support creator for the professional basketball B.LEAGUE “Kawasaki Brave Thunders” in the 2011-2012 season, and continued to be active as a gravure model for youth magazines and a model for fitness magazines.

Furthermore, on May 29th, it was announced through the official website of her management company that she would be taking a break from activities for the time being due to physical and mental health issues.
