Nakayama Miho may have died of illness or accident; autopsy to determine cause

Actress and singer Miho Nakayama (54) was found dead in the bathroom of her home in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo on the 6th. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Nakayama did not show up at the meeting place around 9:00 a.m. on the 6th, so someone from her office visited her home. The front door was locked, so they called an acquaintance who had a key to go inside and found her collapsed.

On the 7th, Sponichi Annex learned that a staff member had sent a LINE message to actress and singer Nakayama, who was found dead in the bathroom of her apartment in Tokyo on the 6th, at around 7:00 a.m. on the same day, but it was not marked as “read”. Nakayama sent a work-related email to the staff member at around 2:30 a.m. on the 6th. However, the staff member was already asleep and only noticed the email after waking up the next morning. After that, he sent a reply to Nakayama via LINE, but it was not marked as “read” and Nakayama was found dead at her home without being able to communicate with him.
