Weekly Bunshun is reporting that TK & KEIKO are in divorce mediation

Weekly Bunshun Digital is reporting that music producer Komuro Tetsuya (60) and his wife, singer KEIKO (47) are divorcing.

Documents related to the Tokyo Family court have been submitted and divorce mediation have already been held five times.

According to the report, KEIKO has been living at her parent’s home with almost no financial support, KEIKO has requested Komuro to help with her living expenses.

According to the documents, Komuro is claiming the he cannot pay for KEIKO’s living expenses (of Y80,000) because he is in severe debt.  However, according to the report, at the present time, Komuro is said to live in a luxury apartment with a rent of nearly 1 million yen per month, and has a chauffeur for his Mercedes Benz.

In 2011, KEIKO collapsed after a subarachnoid hemorrhage and continues to rehabilitate.  Komuro who was caught in a scandal of having an affair with a nurse, told the public he was retiring from the entertainment industry.

Back in 2008, Komuro was arrested for a fraud case and was reported to have debt surpassing 1 billion yen.  Komuro was accused of swindling an investor for 500 million yen for selling the investor 806 songs of his songs in 2006 but Komuro sold him the rights to music he did not own and that the owner was Avex Entertainment.  The reason why Komuro did it was due to failed business ventures and alimony.

Both sides have lawyers working on the mediation.
