SKE48 and Matsui Jurina posted an update on her health status and return

Back on September 26th, SKE48 announced that Matsui Jurina (22) will be suspending activities due to poor health for the second time.

Since Matsui Jurina won the Senbatsu Sosenkyo in 2018 (and collapsing hours before the event, while she returned, she was barely able to perform), SKE48 management pulled Matsui from various events to give her time to recover and was able to return several months later.

As for when Matsui will be returning, Matsui posted an update through the SKE48 official website.

Matsui wrote, “It has been almost a month since I have taken a break.  I thank everyone for their words of encouragement.  With the 11th anniversary, the release date of the solo album, the ONE championship, I worked a little too hard during the summer and it’s shame because it was a lot of fun.  So, I’m sorry for your concern.  I want to rest a bit more and recover and I will do my best.  Thank you for your continued support”.

According to SKE48, Matsui will be participating as a Nagoya Motor Show Ambassador on November 21st, individual handshake event on November 30th and December 1st.
