“Mashin Sentai Kiramager” actor Komiya Rio who tested positive for COVID-19 last week, has been discharged from the hospital

“Mashin Sentai Kiramager” Actor Komiya Rio, who tested positive for COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) on March 31st, tweeted on April 9th that he has been discharged from the hospital and will be quarantining at home for the next two weeks.

Komiya also sent a message for people to remember to wash their hands and gargle.  Also, he will be back as Kiramai Red, so please wait a little longer.

Komiya finished shooting for “Mashin Sentai Kiramager” on the 27th, but on March 24th, Komiya has been reported of having problems with taste and smell but yet no fever or coughing.

Komiya complained of being in poor physical condition from the evening of March 30th to the morning of March 31st.  He received a PCR test and was tested positive for novel coronavirus.

Toei Tokyo Studio immediately closed and the studio is now being disinfected. While his management will be taking strict measures to prevent the spread of the infection.
