DyDo hits a grand slam with 45th year anniversary collaboration with “Kimetsu no Yaiba”

Dydo is celebrating its 45th year anniversary of its Dydo Blend Coffee and what best than to collaborate with the most popular manga/anime series in Japan, “Kimetsu no Yaiba”.

With 12 different types of cans featuring popular characters, over 50 million cans of coffee (about 1.67 million cases) were sold in less than three weeks.

The collaboration started on October 5th and the collaboration has surpassed DyDo’s collaboration with “Dragon Ball” and “Meitantei Conan”.

Prior to the collaboration, DyDo’s coffee beverage sales were at a decrease compared to the previous year which was attributed to the novel coronavirus but since the collaboration, sales have skyrocked by 60-70%.

It is said that those who drinked canned coffee are primarily men in their 40s and 50s but in this case, both women and men and children are purchasing the canned coffee.
