Kabushikigaisha TOKIO (TOKIO Co., Ltd.) has been registered

It was announced last week, along with news that TOKIO vocalist Nagase Tomoya will be leaving Johnny’s Jimusho and TOKIO, that the three TOKIO members, Joshima Shigeru, Kokubun Taichi and Matsuoka Masahiro will now have their own office, Kabushikigaisha TOKIO (TOKIO Co., Ltd.), which will be under Johnny’s but giving the three members a bit more independence.

It was announced that TOKIO leader Joshima Shigeru will be the president, the other two will be vice presidents and Fujishima Keiko (President of Johnny’s) will be the representative director.

The three have already made some plans with their new office, for one, they will have business cards using trees from Fukushima Prefecture and develop games for smartphones in collaboration with other companies.

For the registration the following business objectives were shown as follows:

• Management of Entertainers
• Cultivation of Artists
• Planning, production and management of events, concerts, lectures, etc.
• Planning, production and manufacturing and sale of products such as books, goods, CDs, DVDs,movies, etc.
• Planning, production and operation of TV programs, etc.
• Management of copyrights, neighboring rights, etc.
• Production of advertisements, agency business
