More Entertainers Test Postive for COVID-19 (August 15th): Cocorico comedian Endo Shozo, Kori Takayuki, Yamamoto Keiichi

In the latest announcements of entertainers who have tested positive for novel coronavirus (August 15th):

Cocorico comedian Endo Shozo (49) has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.  His management office, Yoshimoto Kogyo made the announcement on August 15th.

Endo had a fever on August 12th and had a PCR test on Thursday and on Saturday, received his result that he tested popsitive.  Currently Endo is staying at home quarantining and awaiting instructions from the public health department.

Endo hosted a YouTube live alongside comedians Yamamoto Keiichi and Shoji Tomoharu, both men have also tested positive for covid-19.

Comedian Kori Takayuki aka “Japyon” (47) has tested positive for Covid-19.  Kori participated in a YouTube Live with four other entertainers and all four who participated in the YouTube Live on August 8th have tested positive.

Yamamot Keiichi (52) was also among the four entertainers on the YouTube Live on August 8th and have tested positive on Augsut 12th.

All four individuals including Shoji Tomoharu all complained of poor physical condition on August 11th and 12th and each took a PCR test and each tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Yoshimoto Kogyo said they are taking appropriate measures according to the guidance of the Public Health Center and to determine of the number of people which Endo had contact with.
