Koda Kumi shares photos on Instagram of her and Shinohara Ryoko

On May 29th, Koda Kumi shared photos of herself and her very good friend Shinohara Ryoko.

Shinohara Ryoko was a member of the idol group Tokyo Performance Dolls in the early ’90s and popular for her string of solo hits in the ’90s until she became a full-fledged actress, while Koda Kumi is an artist who had a string of hits in the 2000s.

Shinohara is married to actor Ichimura Masachika since 2005 and have two children. Koda Kumi is married to BACK-ON’s Kenji03 since 2011 and have one child.

Koda wrote about Shinohara, “As a woman and a mother, I will respect her as much as I can”.  The two have a close friendship, almost like sister relationship.
