GACKT donated 4.7 million yen for the Shurijo Castle reconstruction

GACKT, who is originally from Okinawa, visited the prefectural office on August 25th and donated approximately 4.7 million yen to the reconstruction of Shurijo Castle, in which the main shrine was completely burned down in October last year.

GACKT said in regards to the donation, “I felt a sense of loss when I saw the photo after Shurijo burned down. The donation is in cooperation of the fans who have supported me and my feelings of Okinawa”.
