Nogizaka46 member/model Hori Miona announces that she is graduating

Nogizaka46 member/model Hori Miona announced on a video posted on the official Nogizaka46 YouTube channel that she will be graduating.

Hori says, “I feel like I’ve grown up in a blink of an eye for the past seven years.  Nogizaka46 is warm and you want to be watched over all the time.  I’m sure there is still time, no, I don’t have time…. Is it a contradiction?  No, I’m at a loss.  I wonder if it  is.  But after all, I have a lot of memories as an idol. I think that 80%, I have given it my all and 20%, there are things that I feel regrettable. Am I feeling a bit sentimental this time?  I’ll put that thought into a song and perform it”.

Hori then performed “Tsumetai mizu no naka”, her solo song that will be on the group’s upcoming single “Boku wa Boku wo Suki ni Naru” (to be released on January 27th).

At the end of the performance, Hori looks at the camera and says, “I, Hori Miona, will be graduating from Nogizaka46”.

Hori Miona joined Nogizaka46 as a second generation student in March 2013 and became the center for the group’s seventh single “Baretta” that year.  She was nominated for “Outstanding Rookie Asian Actress of the Year” at the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival for her role in “Hot Gimmick: Girl Meets Boy”.
