New Gundam Breaker to be released for the PS4 in 2018

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment announced the fighting action game “New Gundam Breaker” for the PlayStation 4 for 2018 (in Japan).

While price and release date has been announced, what is known is that you can destroy enemies and rob them of their Gunpla parts, collect them, customize it and create an even stronger Gundam.

Unlike previous games, this one is focused on Gunpla (Gundam models) and so backgrounds showcase playing on top of an office desk or inside an a office, etc.

When you beat an enemy, you can take their parts and combine them with your own on the spot.  So, you can constantly evolve during the game while in battle.

Aside from Single Play, there is also a Team Combat Battle 3-on-3 and whoever earns the most points with the time limit wins.

The setting for this game is that characters are part of the Gunpla Academy which specializes in Gundam modeling.  You will take on various characters such as Morita Shougo, Sakaki Simon, Mikagura Yui and the game features live performance from Shakuno Rinko.
