A new “au no Santaro” commercial featuring Oni-chan

The “au no Santaro” commercials are often hilarious, unusual and also entertaining.

And one of the interesting characters is “Oni-chan” (portrayed by Suda Masaki), that while he looks like a young devil man, he is actually 150-years-old and it was revealed in a previous commercial that he has five children.

In the new commercial, his child is angry that her father is following him.  Seeing his son’s rebelliousness, Oni-chan is proud of him.

Granted, the Au no Santaro commercials may not have much to do with selling smartphones but because these commercials are quite popular, it has managed to make au phones relevant to the point that media is often excited to blog about it.
