With the surprising death of actor Osugi Ren, the question is how will the dramas that he was starring in would continue.
TV Asahi announced that actor Sugimoto Tetta will fill in for the character role that was played by Osugi starting on the March 2nd episode of “Aibo” season 16.
With the final episode slated for March 14th, TV Asahi appointed Sugimoto to take on the role, while keeping the script and setting the same.
Both Sugimoto and Osugi worked together on the 2017 Fuji TV drama series “Boku no Kanegasaki”.
The response by fans were positive that TV Asahi hired Sugimoto, while a few were hoping to see other characters getting more airtime.
