With Kamikaze Douga’s animated film “Ninja Batman” set for a theatrical release in Japan on June 15th (note: The U.S. title is “Batman Ninja” and is set for a Blu-ray+DVD+Digital release on April 24, 2018).
Kamikaze Douga who also creates the animation for the popular anime series “Pop Team Epic”, will be doing a nendoroid collaboration featuring Popuko as the Ninja Batman and Pipimi as the Joker.
The idea of a collaboration came from “Ninja Batman” director, Mizusaki Junpei, because the eyes of Popuko and Pipimi look like Batman’s logo.
The Pop Team Epic “Ninja Batman” nendoroids will be exhibited at the Warner Bros. Japan Booth (East 4 Hall J01) at Tokyo Big Sight for AnimeJapan 2018 this weekend.
There are no plans for the “Ninja Batman/Pop Team Epic” nendoroids to go on sale at this time.
