Nakayama Miho to appear on a TV Asahi drama for the first time in 30 years

Singer/actress Nakayama Miho (48) will make a guest appearance in the first episode of the TV Asahi drama “未解決の女　警視庁文書捜査官” (Mikaiketsu no Onna Keishicho Bunsho Sosa-kan), which stars Suzuki Kyoka (49) and Haru (26).

The drama series will begin on April 19th and will air on 9:00-9:54 p.m.

While Nakayama has appeared in many dramas, the last time she appeared on a TV Asahi drama was back in the 1988 drama “Mismatch”, which she co-starred with Kudo Shizuka and Sera Masanori.

Nakayama said, “I’d like to keep acting for the rest of my life, if possible, I will continue to act for the rest of my life!  I imagine enjoying acting as a different person and being a totally different person is a lot of fun.  To play the character of a popular mystery writer who was killed in an unresolved 10 years ago!”.

Nakayama continued, “It is the first time in 30 years since I appeared in a TV Asahi drama.  It was my first time to come to the office with my tea in the morning and felt like a newcomer (laughing).”
