Southern All Stars are celebrating their 40th anniversary, Mitsuya Cider to feature CM’s showcasing their music for each decade

Southern All Stars is celebrating their 40th anniversary on June 25th and Asahi Inryo Kabushigaisha’s popular beverage “Mitsuya Cider” will honor Southern All Stars with four CM’s featuring the music of Southern All Stars from four decades.

The first CM will feature their 1978 song “Katte ni Sinbad” (Sinbad without permission).  The song was the debut song by the Southern All Stars from June 25, 1978.

The second CM will air in late April and feature “Minna no Uta” (released in 1988), “LOVE AFFAIR ~Himitsu no Date~” (released in 1998) and to air in mid-May and the fourth CM, I AM YOUR SINGER” (which was released in 2008) and will air in early June.

Southern All Stars did a 75-second CM titled “Natsu to Southern to Cider to” in 2017 for Mitsuya Cider, featuring scenes from their Mitsuya Cider commercial back in 1978, which went viral.  The CM appearance was the first time in 38 years.
