miwa’s best album titled “miwa THE BEST” will be released on July 11th

miwa will have an all-time best album titled “miwa THE BEST” planned for a July 11th release.

The announcement was made on her NHK-FM radio program “miwa no Muse Notes” which was broadcast last night.

The best album will be two-discs and will feature her first major debut single “Don’t Cry Anymore” to her latest single “update”.  A total of 28 singles will be featured including unreleased new songs that were recorded for this album.

Also, a limited edition release will feature a Blu-ray or DVD that comes with “miwa clips vol. 2”.

miwa said about her best album, “Back in 2010, I was a college student when I made my debut. It has been eight years since then and I now can give you a best album.  Thanks to everyone who has supported me!”

miwa continued, “From songs which I wrote back in my high school days and to songs that I wrote at the age of 27, it now will come together in a one released work.  And since various songs I wrote before I made my debut are included, I think that the songs that are featured are different from each other, but I am happy if you can listen to these songs from that time”.
