Oginome Yoko performed a solo day and night shows at Tokyo Takeshiba Pier Hall, her first performances in a year.

The two live events attracked 1,600 people

Oginome is an ’80s idol singer who performed Eurobeat songs in the mid-’80s and received a gold record for four consecutive years (1986-1989) for the Japan Record Awards and participated five times at the NHK Kouhaku Utagassen.

Oginome is known for songs, especially her 1985 hit “Dancing Hero (Eat You Up)” which has received a lot of play in the past year when the Osaka Prefecture Tomioka High School Dance Club (TDC) went viral for their bubble era dance to the song and performed on television with Oginome.

Oginome performed 18 songs including her masterpiece “Roppongi Junjoha” and with each song receiving many cheers, Oginome told the audience “regardless of gender, regardless of age, I want to thank you everyone”.
