Former HKT48 member Yamada Marina will be a voice actress for upcoming anime series “Jashin-chan Drop Kick”

Former HKT48 member Yamada Marina will be taking her first step as a voice actress.  She will be doing her first voice work for the anime series “Jashin-chan Drop Kick” which will begin broadcast on July 2018.

Yamada made the following announcement on Twitter:

I now belong to the voice acting office, Crocodile.  I hope to make my dream as a “Voice Actress” come true, a dream that I had before I became a member of HKT48.  I will do my best to work in this direction from now on.

I am conscious that it is almost impossible for people to make a transition from idol to voice actress.  However, I have overcome many hurdles as a member of HKT48 and I think that is only a positive for me.  I’d like to move forward thanks to the people who have pushed me from behind to make me smile.  Thank you.
