Nogizaka46’s “Synchronicity” has sold over a million copies, 19th consecutive single to achieve #1 on the Oricon Weekly Charts

Nogizaka46’s latest single which was released on April 25th sold 1,116,852 copies for Oricon Weekly Charts (April 23-29).  And the single continues to top the charts and is holding steady at #1 and has sold an additional 18,329 copies on April 30th.

On pace of becoming the #1 single for two consecutive weeks and is the 19th #1 single on the Oricon Weekly Charts for Nogizaka46.

The group now takes the #2 spot for most #1 singles surpassing SKE48 who they were tied at #2 for the most consecutive singles released at 18.  The #1 spot belongs to AKB48 who has 38 consecutive singles at #1.

The only group to have the most consecutive Japanese #1 singles from debut is the KinKi Kids who currently hold the Guinness World Record and for the most consecutive #1 singles from debut in the world.  The group has released 39 consecutive singles at #1.
