Tokyo Governor Koike would like to see TOKIO continue as special ambassadors for the 2020 Olympic Games

Many wondered if TOKIO would continue to be special ambassadors to the 2020 Olympic Games after the Yamaguchi Tatsuya scandal.

With Yamaguchi now out of TOKIO and the band continuing on as a four member-band, Governor Koike Yuriko said she would like to see them continue on as ambassadors.  Koike said, “It is a fact that they’ve worked hard so far and I want to consider their efforts”.

Tokyo governor Koike has evaluated the positive achievements of TOKIO in wanting to see them continue, she also requested for the members and management to continue appropriate care for the victim and her family.
