AAA’s Uno Misako stars in AbemaTV drama “Kaisha wa Gakkou jyaneendayo”

AAA member Uno Misako maybe known for her music but her passion is also acting.  And Uno stars on AbemaTV’s new drama “Kaisha wa Gakkou jyaneendayo” (The company is not a school).  The episodes can be viewed on YouTube (the first four episodes are featured on the bottom of this post).

The story is set in Shibuya.

The number of people starting their own businesses in Japan has continued to surge, about 120,00 companies are born each year.   One dreams of becoming their own boss and not working under someone.  Some succeed and become financially successful.

The main character Fujimura Tetsuhei (portrayed by Miura Shohei) has this dream.

Having a life of popularity in Shibuya with his friends and around women, he ditches his long died-blonde hair after being inspired by a book by venture capitalist, Sawada.

Fujimura is given the chance to work in a public relations agency but Tetsuhei is inspired of creating a company that represents the 21st Century, so he quits and takes a chance on entrepreneurship.

But Tetsuhei learns that having his own company is not easy and he will face the most difficult obstacles in his life.  Especially when it comes to earning funds from major investors to help fund his company.

The first episode of “Kaisha wa Gakko jyaneendayo” has exceeded over a million viewers and on May 19th, the episode will now go forward two years later to see what has happened to the characters.  Was Tetsuhei successful?  Did the company do well?

Uno Misako plays the role of Hanako, she joins Tetsuhei’s company but there becomes a love triangle as both Tetsuhei and Takahiro (portrayed by Saotome Taichi) both are interested in Hanako.
