whiteeeen grows to six members! To release new single “Honey Toast” in June

The Japanese vocal group whiteeeen is produced by the popular vocal group Greeeen.

Similar to Greeeen, where the member are unknown (all of them work in the dental industry and have not divulged their true identities), the identities for whiteeeen are also unknown, do not attend public events and are displayed as illustrations.

whiteeeen began back in 2014 with members kana, hima, noa and meri and have released four singles, one album and one mini-album.  Their debut single was “愛唄〜since 2007〜” (Ai Uta ~since 2007~).

Back in 2015, the group won “Best 5 New Artists” at the Japan Gold Disc Awards.

Meri graduated from the group and auditions were held in November and joining the group are moca, nene and akagi.

With six members, the name stays the same but their illustrations and group logo are new and this begins a new generation of whiteeeen.

It was also announced that whiteeeen will appear as an opening act for GReeeeN’s nationwide tour “GReeeeN to Fushigi no momo ga tari~okoshi ni tsuketaki bidango~” in July.

And they will be releasing a new single titled “Honey Toast” on June 6th.
